Del & I spent the weekend watching…

” The series is initially set in 2149, a time when overpopulation and declining air quality worldwide threatens all life on Earth. After scientists discover a rift in spacetime, they begin sending people in a series of “pilgrimages” 85 million years into Earth’s Cretaceous past, to a different “time stream”. ” - from wikipedia

We love it! :)

Can’t wait for Season 2 (if there is).
The production is probably too high.. which is why there is still no updates on season 2. :(

Day 3: Lucerne to Interlaken

Posted in Uncategorized by Agnes on February 13, 2012

“Procrastination is the needless, often irrational, voluntary delay of an intended task.”

I need to overcome my procrastination for blogging.

Although I do not have the habit of penning down my thoughts, I would love to display a series of photos that dictate my recent happenings.

But first, let me finish my travelogue as intended. :)

After 2 days in Lucerne, we finally have time to explore the Lucerne town.

We spent half our day in Lucerne town before we set off to Interlaken.

checked out from our hotel at Lucerne

On street of Lucerne Town

On Chapel Bridge

On the train towards Interlaken.

It’s a scenic experience!!

I’m definitely not a fan of scenic views but this train ride to Interlaken is just too spectacular.

It’s beyond words to describe how beautiful it is.. even photos are not justifiable.

I’m not over exaggerating but it looks like paradise, like those shown in movies.

beautiful town.

The best train ride! :)

From Green to White

And... to paradise.

the water is crystal clear.

I can imagine myself staying in that yellow house by the lake.

I would love to wake up every morning to a row of white capped mountains with a crystal clear blue lake.

Just imagining it makes me smile. :)

I can’t imagine how happy the people at Brienz are everyday.

It’s time for my paradise.

Nights y’all.

As usual, more photos will be uploaded on facebook. :)

Day 2: Lucerne – Berne

Posted in Uncategorized by Agnes on February 2, 2012

More photos of Lucerne while we wait for our train ride to Berne.

Del & family with his aunt.

Our initial plan was to visit Mt Titlis.

However, due to bad weather, it was closed.

The staff at the tourist information center recommended Berne.

And, off we go…

Took a train from Lucerne —> Berne

Berne

We strolled along the streets of Berne, did some souvenir shopping and photo-taking like every other tourists.

It’s always a good thing to have a good photographer around who is able to capture vivid images of the beautiful surroundings.

I can never figure out how to set the aperture, shutter speed etc.

I always feel that it’s important to have nice photos. I like doing it the old fashion way… develop the photographs and safe keep them in a nicely decorated photo album.

I believe a photo album filled with many photographs is one of the best ways to keep track of the wonderful memories we had. :)

Berne was where I finally witnessed my 1st falling snow.

It was raining and then it started to snow.

It did not felt like snow to me. It was more like falling crushed ice (like the ice kachang).

While everyone was walking under the shelters, I was hopping around in the open like a mad woman.

 snowing… it’s snowing.

I was over the moon.

All happily drenched in the falling snow.

We took a train back to Lucerne when night falls.

And, that’s all for Berne.

You can refer to my facebook for more photos.
